Where to find the 2026 Oscar Nominees on Streaming

This list started by accident. Levi and I don’t usually make it a point to see movies because they are nominated for an Oscar, but it can sway us in the final decision. This year though, the nominees and our tastes seem to have aligned and well, I decided to make a list for us to follow.

The very first nominee we saw was Weapons, which we both loved. Amy Madigan was mesmerizing as Aunt Gladys and we are both over here rooting for her to win. Frankentein came later and was visually stunning. Jacob Edori made the monster a poem to heartbreak.

Sinners was fun, surprising, captivating and held you until the end. I have always enjoyed Michael B. Jordan, but Wunmi Mosaku took hold of that screen and left a mark on your heart, bringing such power and strength to that screen that I think needs to be shown more. To me, she is the representation of the women I know and love and see so rarely represented. You wont forget her if you watch it.

Song Sung Blue, I didn’t really think I would like, but I very much did. You are rooting for everyone in that movie!

Last night, we watched Blue Moon. I will watch any project Ethan Hawke is apart of, so this was high on the list for me. I have a little bit of theatre background and never knew of Lorenzo Hart, so when the character early in the movie started making cracks about my least favorite play, Oklahoma! I immediately loved him-even my husband looked at me and started laughing. Move over Elizabeth, you’ve got competition. And the rest of the 90 minutes with Hawke, Qualley and Scott left me longing for the Golden Age and a martini.

Levi and I have yet to find a nominee we disagree with, so we are excited to continue down the list!
